I started studying Complementary Therapies when I was 16 years old and they have always been a passion of mine.
I studied Complementary Therapies at The University of Wolverhampton in 2001 specialising in Reflexology and since graduating in 2004 I have worked as a senior therapist at Hoar Cross Hall and then as a senior therapist for the NHS in a cancer and palliative care service.
Since receiving Reflexology myself prior to and during both of my pregnancies I decided to further my studies in this area.
I live in Staffordshire with husband Neil, daughters Elizabeth and Imogen, dog Lola and cat Jenson.
Qualifications and training
I undertook my reflexology training with The Bayly School of Reflexology the official teaching body of The British Reflexology Association (B.R.A) at The University of Wolverhampton.
I have completed further reflexology training with Barbara Scott of Seren Natural Fertility to gain my qualification in ReproflexologyTM.
Barbara Scott developed Reproflexology TM, and recently won the national award of FHT Complementary Therapist of the year.
I have also completed advanced maternity reflexology training with Sally Earlam – a maternity specialist for the Association of Reflexologists (AOR).
Professional membership
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) an association delivering excellence in reflexology and a member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR). This is a professional body of practitioners with an advanced standard of reproductive reflexology training that the general public can rely upon as a kite mark for excellence.
I am a fully insured therapist with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
