Fertility Reflexology can be used before trying to conceive to enhance your natural health and wellbeing, or when you experience difficulties trying for a baby.
It is suitable for women and men during any stage of fertility planning.
Fertility Reflexology can also be used alongside and in preparation for assisted fertility treatments such as IVF, ICSI and medicated cycles.
Laura has 15 years of experience as a reflexologist and is devoted to helping you along your fertility journey, at whatever stage you may be at.
Each client is treated individually and after an in depth consultation a treatment plan is designed and specifically tailored to your needs.
Trying to conceive
For some couples, trying to conceive can be a stressful and anxious time.
Fertility Reflexology aims to help to release tension, relax the mind and body and promote wellbeing creating the best environment for conception to take place.
Not conceiving as quickly as you may have hoped can be disappointing and stressful. Reflexology treatments give you the opportunity to talk about your feelings and concerns in a confidential environment.
Fertility Reflexology and Assisted Conception
Fertility Reflexology may be used prior to starting assisted conception with the aim of supporting you both physically and emotionally for the journey ahead.
As well as supporting you during medicated treatment cycles such as Clomid and IVF/ICSI procedures.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long does a treatment take?
The initial consultation and assessment of the feet will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this appointment we discuss your medical history, fertility journey so far, and your diet and lifestyle and then a treatment plan will be tailored to your needs.
Subsequent appointments last 1 hour – which includes a 45 minute reflexology treatment.
Q. How many treatments will I need, and how often?
This depends on the individual, however most female clients will initially need weekly treatments for one complete cycle followed by a re-assessment.
Treatments during assisted conception vary depending on the type of medication/procedure being used and this will be discussed during the consultation.
Q. Where do treatments take place?
Treatments take place at a peaceful clinic in the centre of Brewood, a quiet rural village in Staffordshire. There is plenty of free parking available in the village. Appointments are strictly by appointment.
